AMERICAN CULTURE

TWENTIETH CENTURY AMERICAN MUSIC
Today in America culture we discussed a unique form of American music jazz. Billie Holliday and Norah Jones and their different life stories, with different lifetimes, where passion and dedication expressed, their music continues to be the most popular jazz music.
Billie Holliday had a very difficult life, and she was very poor until she became a successful singer. But after she had many hit records, performed concerts at famous venues, and she has many songs in the grammy hall of fame. She had no musical training, she learned from musicians around her and invented her own unique style of singing.
Norah Jones's parents are a famous musician and dancer. She was able to attend good schools and colleges. Norah Jones's first album won eight grammy awards. She took piano lessons and studied jazz piano in Texas. She also sings country and pop songs and she is better know as a writer than Holiday is.
To know their music, we need to have a set of skills and harmonics that are the result of a long period of trainingThe music of a culture is related to aspects of culture, such as the economic, technical development, the attitude of the composers and their relationship with listeners, and vision about the role of art in society and the biographical variants of each author.
